In March 2018, a new standard ISO 45001: 2018 – Occupational Health and Safety Management System was published, which replaces the current BS OHSAS 18001: 2007 standard.

The new standard is harmonized with the structure of other management systems (eg ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.), which facilitates their integration.

The transition period for the application of the ISO 45001 standard, for organizations that have established systems in accordance with the BS OHSAS 18001 standard, is three years, ie until 12.3.2021. year, after which the certificates according to OHSAS will no longer be valid.
