Namjena

This course enables participants to learn about the best practices for implementing and managing a Disaster Recovery plan. Participants will gain a basic understanding of fundamental disaster recovery strategies.

Cilj

To understand the implementation of a Disaster Recovery plan

Day 1: Introduction to Disaster Recovery

Introduction to the main concepts of Disaster Recovery
Introduction to management systems and the process approach
Fundamental principles of Disaster Recovery
Implementation phases of a Disaster Recovery framework
Continual improvement of a Disaster Recovery plan

Day 2: Implementing Disaster Recovery controls

Principles and design of Disaster Recovery controls
Documentation of a Disaster Recovery environment
Monitoring and reviewing the Disaster Recovery controls
Examples of implementation of Disaster Recovery controls based on best practices

Day 3: Certification Exam

Exam and certification

The “PECB Certified Disaster Recovery Foundation” exam fully meets the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Programme (ECP). The exam covers the following competence domains:

Domain 1: Fundamental principles and concepts of Disaster Recovery
Domain 2: Implementation of an information and communications technology disaster recovery plan
The “PECB Certified Disaster Recovery Foundation” exam is available in different languages (the complete list of languages can be found in the examination application form)
Duration: 1 hour

A certificate of “PECB Certified Disaster Recovery Foundation” will be issued to participants who successfully passed the exam and comply with all the other requirements related to this credential

Način rada

Seminar lasts 3 days.

This training is based on both theory and practice.

The seminar can be conducted: in a classroom format, as online or adapted to the needs of a specific organization (in-house).

Dokaznica

All participants receive participation certificate.

Participant will receive the certificate once he/she comply with all the requirements of this certification.
