Day 1: Introduction to Six Sigma quantitative methods in process improvement as required by ISO 13053

Introduction to the ISO 13053 standard and it’s relation to ISO 9001
Introduction to quantitative methods in process improvement
Fundamental principles of quantitative methods in process improvement
General requirements: presentation of the clauses 4 to 14 of ISO 13053

Day 2: Implementing requirements from ISO 13053:2011 and Certification Exam

Implementation phases of the ISO 13053 framework
The DMAIC methodology
Conducting an ISO 13053 certification audit
Certification Exam

Examination and Certification

The “PECB Certified ISO 13053 Foundation” exam fully meets the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP). The exam covers the following competence domains:
Domain 1: Fundamental principles and concepts of Six Sigma quantitative methods in process improvement
Domain 2: Quantitative methods in process improvement – Six Sigma
The “PECB Certified ISO 13053 Foundation” exam is available in different languages (the complete list of languages can be found in the examination application form)
Duration: 1 hour

A certificate of PECB Certified ISO 13053 Foundation will be issued to participants who successfully passed the exam and comply with all the other requirements related to this credential

Mode of operation

Seminar lasts 2 days.

The seminar can be conducted: in a classroom format, as online or adapted to the needs of a specific organization (in-house).

Documents proving

A participation certificate of 14 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) will be issued to participants. In case of failure of the exam, participants are allowed to retake the exam for free under certain conditions.

Exam and certification fees are included in the training price. A student manual containing over 200 pages of information and practical examples will be distributed to participants.
